Agriculture industry and Farmer suicide : What should be done ?

Just collecting some point for the discussion and really knowing the problem and what can be the solution for that...   Do not just want to throw up some stupid arguments when I discuss this serious issue... Most of us just see one side.... relating land acquisition etc with farmer suicide.. is it really linked because farmer have been dying anyway till now... what are the real reasons... ?  Will keep updating this post...

Infrastructure -
Electricity

How to tackle
                1) Make the cuts same in Cities and villages -
Does it mean same cost also ? coz most of the villages have highly subsidized Elec and Have seen misuse of that.
We definitely do not want to loose business/industries.
                2) Have mechanism of saving elec..
                        Advertise
Encourage LED etc etc.. (Even in villages. Have noticed in villages in UP people have full power Bulbs and do not care switching it off coz it's free anyways)
                3) Increase elec generation :
                        Nuclear power plant
                        Coal
Natural ( Wind / Solar)  - Tamilnadu, Gujrat leading     followed by Karnataka, MP, UP (still very less though)

Markets
                 Provide better markets for sale.

Irrigation
                 Too much dependency on weather/Rain
  1. Canals
  2. Better irrigation techniques
  1. Compensation/ Insurance

Displacement -
Have other option available near by

Dependency of whole families on agriculture :
Land is being divided in smaller and smaller fields within family not enough for family to live on

New Jobs :
            How can we create -
                       More industries and manufacturing
                       Increase jobs in public sector
                       Education
                       Skill development
Encourage small industries/ Local manufacturing in rural areas
                       Health
                            Insurance

Business value:
             Cotton market is low
                       Move to other farming
Tree plantation with the main crop (Gujrat Model )

Spice/coffee market is abused by European corporations
Increase market value of these product
Process within country and sale final product instead raw

All the best AAP

Why do I think and hope AAP should win elections in Delhi

Oh Yes I did vote for Modi in Lok Sabha Election with lot of expectation I mentioned in my previous blog. I must say I am not disappointed till now. He is the most fit person for the position of PM I have seen in my lifetime and each of his speech inspires me to do something for my country or to myself.

Now if that is the case why I want AAP to do good in Delhi. Almost the same reasons I wanted AAP to do good in last Delhi election. If Modi's speech inspires me , AK's speech used to inspire me even more. there was a time when I used to stay up in night to listen to his speeches and read articles about him.

AAP is a party with a different point of view and there is no doubt that it did tremendous work of joining youth with politics. They do have some different ideas of politics too which I would like to be tested. Why I did not vote for him in Lok Sabha election then... because voting them didn't make sense to me. Lok Sabha election is for the country and my expectation with the Central government is different and I do not think AAP fits for any of the expectation I have with the central govt ( my previous blog ). Moreover most of their candidates were famous social activists whom I do not always admire and I definitely do not equate any social activist with AAM AADMI which was their criteria for candidates.

But Delhi is different and here is why I want them to win even greater this time.

1. For the same reason I wanted them to win last time. They are fresh ( I hope they are still fresh) generation with new ideas and they are a new party. As a democracy we should be able to prove that anyone if have proper support can reach to any level in democracy and it's not constraints to two or three big parties. If AAP does well it gives confidence to lot of other people who want to do good for the community but also do not want to be associated with those Big parties.

2. I really want to experiment those new ideas. They might fail or pass that doesn't matter but someone should dare to try those ideas.

3. AAP is more concerned about local politics and local issues and Delhi being a small state to manage, It ideal to get some experience to take bigger task. Also handling a Urban place should be easier in first attempt then say Harayana or UP. ( Kumar Vishwas can explain it better).

having said that I too have some expectation from AAP this time :

1. If you are selected and get to form the government, Please do not indulge in "No Bunglow, this bunglow, that bunglow"...kind of politics. We do not really care about it as log as you do good work. So stay what is madde for that purpose.. there is reason why these govt bunglows are created and I hope you have learnt it last time. You can be very transparent and accessible in Govt bunglow too if you WANT.

2. Now you know that you do not have Delhi police in your hand. It's still with the center but learn to manage and handle that properly. No more Dharnas please. If you can change the system of police power in Delhi with agreement with central government .. that will be the best thing. If not you should create a parallel unit to ensure safety of women as you promised last time. You should focus more on these tasks.

3. Please do not start with subsidies and other throw away schemes like congress does. Try to solve issues more practically. Take your time no Hurry...

One more reason I want AAP to win is that BJP should also understand that an not just ride Modi wave everywhere... they need to work and show it to us in other states to get back Delhi. Too much win makes you arrogant and that is the last thing I would like them to do.

All the best AAP.

Illogical Indian

There is very logical video lot of AAP fans are sharing now a days... It's really a very logical video which asks real question which we all should think about. There is a person in the video who is convinced that there are lot of reasons to vote AAP but would like to know from people that what they expects from BJP and the question is what change you expect to see in next six month if Modi comes…

A very valid question… He want us to create a video and post those video to him but that’s too much to invest on any politicians be it Modi or someone else… so here I am writing my thought and expectation if Modi comes into power and why I voted him…

What change do I am expecting to see in next six month if Modi comes into power…

Nothing…Yes Absolutely Nothing…. We have already seen what happens when you start seeing change in first 10 days of government… I do not see that electricity or water or any other thing will become cheap or govt will announce any subsidy on that… I‘ll be very disappointed if Modi also does the same as congress have been doing for last 60 years and AAP did very quickly in Delhi.

What we will see is more speaking and motivating prime minister who does hard work and expect us to do some hard work to get something.. Though I expect that he would start lot of thing behind the scene which we will not see but will be happening that is some planning should start on following topics :

Strengthening the defense system of India. India is currently the biggest importer of weapons but still do not have enough to fight for a month. Modi is strong believer of strengthening the defense and being self-dependent on developing weapons and defense requirements. I have heard his ideas of developing industries and research organization for defense and I am sure that it’ll be his highest priority.

Cleaning the lifelines of India: Cleaning of river should be his next priority . From what I have seen in Gujrat and heard him saying about water resources I am expecting him to take some steps on water conservation and supply. Cleaning of Ganga and Yamuna is must.

Electricity situation in country : He has given 24 hours supply in Gujrat. My state Uttar Pradesh still lacking that and situation is only becoming worst every year with 8-15 hours cut in summer while We are paying the same amount of bill as My friend in Gujrat. As it’s a state matter I do not think what is under him to improve but I expect he’ll at least work on improving situation in NDA lead states like Rajasthan , MP and Punjab. Also I expect him to work on sustainable energy resources like Solar and wind. He has done tremendous work on both of these resources in Gujrat.

Transport : I expect him to improve our railway system. Bullet trains is what he mentions but I personally would like him to somehow improve the travel time and quality of travelling in railways, Be it Bullet trains or otherwise. I have heard him about water transport system once, I hope he does some experiment in that regards too.

Tourism : I expect him to take some serious steps to improve tourism in India. Cleanliness in some of main tourist cities should be his priority. Also I will wait to see some innovative steps to boost tourism.

Business and export : I expect him to boost business in the country and bring some new industries to India. I hope he brings some more manufacturing in India to give China some competition. I want those 1Rs = 20 Dollar jokes back which used to come at Vajpayee’s time.

Agriculture :  better maintaining of agriculture production and export / import of essential goods.

Yes every time I talk about these things, question I get is 'there is nothing for common people in these things'.. I strongly feel each of above mentioned item are steps to improve the life of common people and generate lot of jobs so that poor can improve their life. If you believe in subsidies are the way to improve poor people life which we have been doing for last 60 years then probably is definitely not the right person.

I am expecting I should start seeing these results within 3 years of his government. Let's review these points after Two and half years...I voted Modi for these points and expect him to meet my expectations......

Date with stones..... Halebidu

Finally we made a quick plan to visit Halebidu, a 12th century capital of Hoysalas and now a small town in Karnataka.A beautiful temple named Hoysaleswara still exist and standing in its glory even after sacked by the armies of Malik kafur in 14th century.

The Hoysaleswara temple, dating back to the 1121 C.E., is astounding for its wealth of sculptural details. The walls of the temple are covered with an endless variety of depictions from Hindu mythology, animals, birds and Shilabalikas or dancing figures. Yet no two sculptures of the temple are the same. This magnificent temple guarded by a Nandi Bull was never completed, despite 86 years of labour. The Jain basadi nearby are equally rich in sculptural detail.

Beautiful carvings on outer wall... every corners is filled with such carvings...

Shiva-Parvati

Details of the dress...

Elephant carved in the temple.

Around 216 km from Bangalore, Halebidu is easily accessible by road. The best route is Bangalore -> Nelamangala -> Hassan -> Halebidu.
